Priceless Elevator Pitch
On September 27th & 28th at the annual Social Good Summit in NYC, the MasterCard Center for Inclusive Growth gave individuals and organizations the opportunity to give a pitch in an actual elevator. Participants had 60 seconds to answer the question: What are you doing to help end poverty and how can The Center help?
The Center then posted the videos on Twitter and Youtube, fostering innumerable connections and conversations. More than 140 people shared their big ideas via the elevator and as a philanthropic bonus, The Center donated $500 to DataKind for the first 100 people—totaling a $50,000 donation.
It’s the most successful Priceless Elevator Pitch initiative to date.
